Position Summary

Provides technical support and assistance to a team responsible for improving manufacturing productivity and quality. Collects and analyzes data describing the organization's manufacturing processes in terms of manufacturing output, labor costs, cost of raw materials or other overhead and quality of finished goods. Guides the manufacturing/operations team in interpreting existing processes and policies, and assists in the development of efficiencies or process improvements. Participates in the implementation of changes meant to improve the organization's financial performance and competitive positioning.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
• Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
• Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning and/or reviewing the work of other peers.
• May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
• Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Expertise: Qualifications - Education/Experience/Training/Etc
• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
• 4–6 years related experience required.
• Regular and predictable on‑site attendance.
• Ability to work non‑standard schedule as needed.

Physical Demands
• Light work – Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and reaching – Occasionally: reaching upward and downward, push/pull, sit. Frequently: stand, visual acuity with or without corrective lenses.
• Activities – Occasionally: climbing stairs/ladders, finger feeling, sitting, stooping/squatting. Frequently: handling, hearing - ordinary, fine distinction, loud (hearing protection required), push/pull, reaching upward and downward, seeing - depth perception, color vision, field of vision/peripheral, standing, talking - ordinary, loud/quick, walking.
• Environmental conditions – Frequently: proximity to moving parts.
• Work environment – Occasionally: office environment. Constantly: production/manufacturing environment.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $28.19–$33.83. This range is based on skill set, experience, training, licensure, and other business and organizational needs.
