Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Mortgage Warehouse division. In this role, you will support financial planning and analysis, budgeting, monthly forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting. You will interact regularly with management and finance team liaisons to ensure clarity and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the annual planning process and monthly forecasts, including financial modeling, coordination, and preparation of management presentations.
• Perform financial modeling of strategic and business inputs.
• Provide in-depth support and analysis for the annual plan, monthly forecast, and three-year strategic plan.
• Analyze income and operating expenses to identify trends, address business requests, and perform variance analysis.
• Complete management financial reporting, including dashboards, monthly business reviews, and profitability reports.
• Enhance controls and streamline processes by introducing automation and clarity throughout the business line.
• Review forecasts for inconsistencies and make appropriate adjustments in models and reports.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics.
• 1-5 years of financial or business analyst experience with strong academic credentials.
• Experience in banking is desired but not necessary.
• Ability to understand and analyze financial institution balance sheets, income statements, and capital.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Strong work ethic, self-initiative, and ability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and discretion in managing sensitive information.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Working hours: Approximately 12:00pm - 8:00pm EST (subject to change).

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with the Microsoft Suite and the ability to quickly learn other Customers Bank applications.
• Experience with FP&A systems (experience with Essbase and Workday is a plus).
• Familiarity with Power BI and utilization of various AI platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Access databases is desired.
