Senior Finance Analyst
Job description
The Space Force & Air Force IT Division has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst. Â This role will support an array of complexities within the division, including: Â Programs/task orders that span multiple sectors; financial reporting and briefings to division, business area, and sector leadership; direct interaction and collaboration with external customers; and new business analysis with a focus on business case development. Â Under the leadership of the Division Finance & Business Operations Senior Manager, you will be challenged to identify and development innovative solutions that drives the division meeting and exceeding the financial metric targets.Â
Primary Tasks:
• Support monthly EACs in close coordination with finance and program teams, including in-depth variance and trend analysis;
• Prepare, communicate, and present complex financial forecasts with various elements of cost and various competition types;
• Work with program management to identify risks and opportunities that will impact program financials as well as potential mitigation measures as appropriate;
• Develop road maps for path to closure on financial targets;
• Develop innovative solutions/processes that improve either the division capabilities or financial position;
• Work closely with other functional areas such as the contracts team, subcontractor team, etc. on financial related elements;
• Work month-end closing processes including variance/trend analysis, with focus on operational activities impacting the financial results;
• Support the consolidation of division finances, including the preparation and development of monthly operating review packages;
• Ability to clearly and articulately communicate with Division, Business Area, and Sector leadership;
• Support the annual operating plan development, including pipeline reviews and long range planning;
• Provide New Business analysis and build out of business case scenarios;
• Support Service Center budgeting, allocations, and variance analysis;
• Provide as needed training of junior financial analyst within the division
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline and 12+ years of experience related to program financial control or or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Familiar with multiple contract types such as CPAF, FFP, and T&M
• Knowledge of service center management and forecasting
• Detail oriented, independent worker, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills
• US citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Leidos financial systems and processes: Costpoint, Fusion, Deltek, PowerBI
• Strong knowledge and experience in financial reporting out of Hyperion products (SmartView)
• Excel expertise and proficiency with PowerPoint presentations
• Government contracting industry experience

Pay Range:
Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
