Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to various programs within our Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. In this role, you will leverage your electrical engineering expertise to design and maintain launcher electrical systems. You will select and implement Commercial Off the Shelf components, design custom hardware, and establish requirements for chassis and enclosure design.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System.
- Engage in innovative design efforts for next-generation launcher and weapon systems across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with team members and senior personnel on critical technical issues.
- Design, develop, and test electronic and electrical components, subsystems, and systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings, and test procedures.
This position is based in Moorestown, NJ.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams on electronic system development.
- Proficient in areas such as Electrical System Integration, Complex Cable Design, and Circuit Card Assembly Design.
- Willingness and ability to obtain & maintain a DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.
Desired Skills
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with DOD and/or US Navy projects utilizing military standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen to be considered.
Work Schedule: Part-time Remote Telework available; you'll have the option to work some of your schedule from home.
Lockheed Martin provides alternative work schedules for flexibility. Your position may allow a 4x10 hour day format, giving you three days off each week.
The salary range for this role in New Jersey is $91,000 - $172,488. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, education assistance, and more.
