Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children while ensuring compliance with all licensing regulations and educational standards. Your leadership will inspire a team of passionate educators, foster positive relationships with families, and promote a vibrant community focused on early childhood development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives through innovative programming and exceptional care. Must be familiar with PA childcare regulations and STAR 4 Standards. Must be able to create a team/family atmosphere and maintain documentation to the highest standard.

Duties
• Track Curriculum plans for each room
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate teaching staff to maintain high-quality educational standards
• Ensure all program activities adhere to licensing requirements, safety protocols, and best practices in education administration
• Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community engagement initiatives
• Manage daily operations including enrollment processes, staff scheduling, and maintaining a clean, organized facility
• Monitor programming and supplies needed for seamless operations
• Lead staff meetings and professional development sessions to promote continuous improvement in teaching quality and classroom management

Skills
• Proven experience in higher education teaching or early childhood education administration
• Strong background in education administration within a university or similar institution
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of educators
• Deep understanding of working with young children and engaging with families effectively
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities seamlessly
• Knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance standards for child care programs
• Effective communication skills to foster collaboration among staff, parents, and community partners

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
