Sales Analyst
Job Summary of Sales Analyst
This position in field sales involves promoting the products and services of Sysco, establishing and fostering relationships with new and established accounts, and meeting sales and profit objectives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Analyst
- Pursue new avenues for business growth, deepen relationships with current clients, and mitigate lost opportunities in designated territory.
- Study the unique requirements of clients’ companies and suggest products and services that best meet those requirements.
- Study market trends and competitors’ products to offer informed recommendations to clients.
- Provide customer personnel with information on the product and offer training support.
- Commute in your personal car for client appointments, industry conferences, and corporate events.
- Organize the retrieval of receivables and oversee the logistics of deliveries to satisfy customer expectations.
- Attend Sysco events, promotions, and customer engagement activities.
- Take part in continuous learning opportunities and play a role in training new personnel.
- Manage clerical duties, including the production of sales budgets and summaries.
Qualifications and Experience of Sales Analyst
- Requirements for this role include a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related fields, or a High School Diploma / GED combined with three years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales.
- Requirement for a legitimate driver’s license and a driving record without infractions.
- Demonstrating eligibility by passing pre-employment screenings, such as drug tests and background checks.
- Bi-Lingual proficiency.
- History of employment in restaurant management, foodservice sales, or culinary field.
