Position Title: Field Canvassing Team Lead
As a Field Canvassing Team Lead, you'll be in charge of recruiting, training, and developing a group of Field Canvassers to enhance Leaf Home brand awareness in high-yield neighborhoods.
Key Responsibilities
• Initiate canvassing-based marketing to generate sales leads for sales representative follow-up
• Plan and schedule routes for Field Canvassers, including evenings and weekends, within assigned areas
• Oversee a multi-team region to produce customer lead generation
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Field Canvassers and establish accountability using predefined marketing goals and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with local regulations concerning permit requirements
• Work closely with the Field Canvassing Manager and collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to enhance brand presence
• Evaluate performance and ROI of territories through canvassing lead generation metrics
• Aim to exceed sales lead goals based on set KPIs
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by a supervisor
Experience and Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of management experience in field canvassing for direct-to-consumer sales
• Background in customer service and/or sales
• Experience in lead generation and field canvassing
• Expertise in recruiting, onboarding, and training marketing and canvassing staff
• Understanding of current best practices and strategies for canvassing
• Willingness to work outdoors in diverse climates
• Capacity to work evenings and/or weekends
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
• Thrive in a high-paced, team-oriented setting with a proactive "can-do" mentality
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and accountable in achieving goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking ability for logical problem-solving
• Provide empathetic and timely service while keeping customer needs first
• Authorization to work without sponsorship in the country of employment
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
• Previous door-to-door canvassing experience
• Familiarity with the home improvement industry
Travel Conditions
• Local travel required
Hours Requirements
• Additional hours may be necessary for exempt positions
Physical Requirements
• Work in field office/manufacturing/construction environments
• Operate in various weather conditions
• Sedentary work involves some light exertion
