Cybersecurity Solutions Architect

Overview

Join GovCIO as a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, where we focus on integrating security-by-design into system architecture and cloud infrastructure. This role is based in Fort Meade, MD and requires on-site presence.

Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you'll play a vital role in implementing security-by-design principles across system architecture, cloud environments, software configurations, and data management strategies during the Initial Operating Capability (IOC) phase. Your contributions will be essential in establishing robust access controls, safeguarding critical data, ensuring effective network segmentation, and preparing Risk Management Framework (RMF) strategies to mitigate authorization risks.

• Establish and enforce cybersecurity controls and secure configuration requirements.
• Assist with RMF and authorization planning activities to ensure compliance and security.
• Ensure secure processing of autonomous assessment data to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.

Required Skills and Experience

• Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• 10 years of experience with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and RMF.
• Expertise in cloud security and data protection measures.
• Proven experience in penetration testing, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc.) is a must.
