Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Systems Validation Engineer (Quality/Test Engineer 2). The work will be done onsite full-time in Peoria, IL. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is approximately $38/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).

Job Summary

Cullerton Group is seeking a Quality/Test Engineer to support Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) initiatives within a global mining technology division. This role focuses on product validation, production defect evaluation, and advanced technical support in an industrial technology environment. The position plays a key role in troubleshooting complex system issues, supporting customers, and enhancing overall product performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Continuous Product Improvement processes

• Evaluate and analyze defects in production products

• Provide advanced support to external customers

• Audit customer software and hardware configurations to enhance system performance

• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical application issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field (Associate’s with additional experience considered)

• 3–5 years of relevant experience

• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes

• Experience supporting technology in an industrial or production environment

• Familiarity with Azure, Linux, SQL Server, and TCP/IP networking

Preferred Qualifications

• Product support or field service experience

• Mining industry experience

• Project management experience

• Experience analyzing data and gathering technical insights from multiple stakeholders
