Devops Lead

Job Description:
• Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• Understanding how to take a containerized application and deploy it to Kubernetes via Helm or similar tool. Doesn’t need to be heavily into the infra side of Kubernetes, but understand what is needed for applications to run on Kubernetes in a production environment and be able to troubleshoot general issues.
• Must be able to take application code and containerize it via docker.
• Our primary Infrastructure-as-code framework.
• Must be able to understand terraform code, create modules, and deploy infrastructure using terraform.
• Leverage Frontend and Scripting languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, React, Angular, Vue.js, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Python, Jython & Perl for re-engineering efforts - Experience with development languages to be able to assist developers in guiding them on best practices, help with refactoring efforts.
• Azure DevOps: Our primary CICD platform. Experience with ADO itself is preferable, but if they have relevant experience in another tool such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Github Actions, etc we can work with it.
• Artifactory: Experience working with artifact repositories and how they work. Artifactory or similar tools such as AWS ECR, Azure Image Gallery, etc.
• SonarQube: Understand code quality scanning tools and able to implement them in the CICD process.
• AWS: Ability and experience to work in the AWS cloud environment but can be interchangeable with Azure.
• Azure : Ability and experience to work in the Azure cloud environment but can be interchangeable with AWS.
