SMT Inc, a top sheet metal manufacturer and fabricator, is looking for 1st and 2nd-shift Welders to join their team in Raleigh, NC.
If you have 1+ year of MIG or TIG Welding experience , then this is the opportunity for you! Current welding program students or trainees are welcome to apply but we do prefer some experience for these openings!

Predictable schedules:
1st shift works 7:
00 AM - 3:
00 PM Monday - Thursday and 6:
00 AM - 2:
00 PM Friday; 2nd shift works Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am. Fridays off, and no weekends!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interpret complex blueprints and welding diagrams
Set up and operate welding, grinding, and cutting equipment
Assemble parts and sub-assemblies to exact specifications
Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
Maintain production records and documentation
Keep a clean and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Proficient in reading blueprints and performing detailed math calculations
Skilled with welding tools, calipers, micrometers, and grinders
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must pass respiratory medical evaluation, respirator training, and fit test prior to start
