**Aerotek is Hiring MIG Welders - 3rd Shift**
• *Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am
• *Shift Differential:** +$1.75/hr for 2nd & 3rd shift
• *Benefits:** Sign-on bonus - Bonus structure - Double-time Sundays - Full benefits package
• *Position Overview**
We are hiring skilled Welders who can pass a weld test and perform high‑quality production welding. This role offers stable hours, strong pay incentives, and the opportunity to grow within a large and expanding welding department.
• *Responsibilities**
+ Operate overhead cranes and material‑handling equipment safely.
+ Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
+ Use hand tools, torches, and welding equipment to heat and form metal parts.
+ Assemble and weld metal components to specification.
+ Accurately read blueprints and measuring devices.
+ Adjust weld configurations based on job requirements.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area.
+ Train and rotate into different production areas as needed.
• *Required Skills**
+ MIG, TIG, or Stick welding experience.
+ 6+ months of welding experience (school or work).
+ Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
+ Experience with production welding or fabrication.
+ Ability to use grinders and other finishing tools.
• *Preferred Qualifications**
+ Welding certificate or completion of a weld school.
+ 1+ year welding experience in manufacturing.
+ Comfortable using tape measures and measuring tools.
+ Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• *Work Environment**
+ Production welding setting with repetitive, consistent work.
+ Department of 300 welders with plans to grow to 400.
+ Team‑focused culture with opportunities to expand skills.
+ Dress code: jeans, clean work shirt, steel‑toe leather boots.
• *Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Mc Connellsburg, PA.
• *Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $ - $ /yr.
Sign On Bonus: Eligible for FULL TIME employees (Contractors would be eligible upon conversion)
$1,500 Total
$500 @ 3 months of employment
$500 @ 6 months of employment
$500 @ 12 months of employment
