The successful candidate will combine strong technical finance and accounting capabilities with the ability to improve processes, support growth, and build rigor in a lean organization.

This role is ideal for a leader who is comfortable managing a small team, working cross-functionally, and rolling up their sleeves when needed while providing in depth analysis and commercial trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the U.S. finance function, including accounting, FP&A, cash flow, reporting, material and inventory management, and internal controls.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting to local management and global headquarters.
  • Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, capital planning, and longer-range financial plans. • Provide clear analysis of revenue, gross margin, labor, operating expenses, working capital, and cash flow to support decision-making.
  • Partner with the U.S. General Manager and department leaders on commercial, operational, and investment decisions.
  • Strengthen policies, procedures, and internal controls to support compliance, scalability, and good governance.
  • Oversee tax, audit, statutory, and regulatory finance matters in coordination with external advisors and corporate finance.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment terms, and overall working-capital performance.

Lead and make sure collection is on time.

Assess customer strength and ability to meet their financial commitments.

Support pricing, profitability, inventory, and cost analysis across products, channels, and customers.

  • Improve finance processes, systems, dashboards, and KPI reporting to increase visibility and discipline across the organization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across sales, operations, service, supply chain, HR, and IT.
  • Lead and manage implementation of a new ERP system and collaborate closely with parent company to meet required standards.
  • Adhere to corporate policies including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and analysis needed.
  • Provide executive oversight of HR administration through partnership with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and direct supervision of the Controller responsible for internal HR processes, ensuring compliance, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and policy implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred. MBA is a plus. • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership responsibility. • Experience in medical devices, manufacturing, healthcare, or another regulated product-based environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience managing audits, tax matters, and external advisors.
  • Strong business-partnering skills and the ability to translate financial information into practical management actions.
  • Experience with inventory, costing, gross-margin analysis, and working-capital management.
  • Comfort with ERP systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with ERP implementation is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively across local and global teams.
  • Ability to work with, motivate, and grow an existing and functional finance team.
  • Strong team orientation and collaborative spirit, energy, independence, ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-growth multi-tasking environment, strong drive, and achievement-orientation.
  • Works well under pressure and goal oriented.
