Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. This position offers an opportunity to work on varied fabrication tasks, from structural steel to high end railing , utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
  • Perform welding using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), welding techniques to join metal components securely.
  • Fabricate metal parts and assemblies using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication metal equipment.
  • Measure materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
  • Use rigging and crane operations for lifting and positioning heavy components safely.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble following safety protocols and industry standards such as ASME codes & standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety procedures related to welding, machining, and fabrication processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring quality control through inspection of welds and assemblies.

Requirements

  • Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety practices in industrial environments.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques, with the ability to perform specific welds as required.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for precise fabrication.
  • Ability to use schematics confidently for measurement and assembly tasks.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during fabrication tasks.
  • Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; capable of working independently or as part of a crew on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
