Role and Responsibilities

As an Member Services Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring an exceptional member experience, and contributing to the club’s success. You will guide and develop a motivated team, maintain service excellence, and ensure smooth and efficient club operations.

• Recruit, train, and develop Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
• Promote a friendly and supportive environment for members, guests, and prospects while upholding excellent customer service standards.
• Organize staff schedules to guarantee complete shift coverage.
• Lead by example with coaching, training, and accountability.
• Address employee concerns and assist with disciplinary actions in partnership with leadership.
• Manage front desk operations, including calls, check-ins, sign-ups, tours, and account updates.
• Ensure timely opening and closing of the facility while maintaining safety compliance.
• Oversee daily cleaning responsibilities and uphold cleanliness standards.
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Support marketing initiatives by training staff on promotions and offers.
• Approve expenses, authorize refunds, and complete daily bank deposits.
• Submit HR documentation to Corporate HR as required.
• Track and analyze weekly, monthly, and annual club performance metrics.
• Provide operational support when staff are absent.

Required Skills and Experience

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong passion for fitness and wellness.
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to listen, empathize, resolve issues, and remain professional.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Background in fitness, health, or wellness industries.

• Hourly rate: $18.00.
