Construction Project Manager / Sales Lead Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA | Hybrid Field Role

Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunity | Commission-Based

Join our growing construction team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on both project management and business development. You’ll oversee construction projects from estimate to completion and generate your own pipeline through networking, referrals, and lead development. You’ll also manage overflow projects from the management team.

What You’ll Do

Project Management

• Oversee residential and light commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Conduct site visits, create scopes of work, and prepare accurate estimates
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, schedules, and inspections
• Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines
• Track project budgets, change orders, and profitability
• Provide daily or weekly updates to leadership and clients on project progress

Sales & Lead Generation

• Build your own book of business through networking, referrals, and community engagement
• Respond to inbound leads and convert them into signed contracts
• Prepare and present proposals to homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients
• Maintain a strong presence in local neighborhoods, real estate circles, and community events
• Develop long-term client relationships to drive repeat business
• Identify new service opportunities and upsell where appropriate

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or project management
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials
• Ability to estimate jobs accurately and confidently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sales, estimating, or client-facing roles
• Existing network in real estate, property management, or trades
• Proficiency with project management or estimating software
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents

Salary & Compensation
