We're growing our Enterprise Data team and we need a skilled, passionate Data Operations Engineer to help us build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our mission. What You'll Do

As a Data Operations Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our data ecosystem — keeping our pipelines running, our platforms optimized, and our data teams empowered to do their best work.

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize data pipelines across Snowflake, Kafka, and related platforms
• Manage Snowflake environments including warehouses, databases, roles, and resource optimization
• Operate and tune Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, and consumer groups
• Build automation for deployment, monitoring, and recovery of data workflows
• Develop scripts and tools (Python, SQL, Bash) to streamline operations
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure
• Partner with data engineers and analytics teams to ensure timely, accurate data delivery
• Support data governance, security, and compliance initiatives

What You Bring

• 5+ years in data operations, data engineering, or a similar technical role
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (query optimization, warehouse tuning, RBAC, data sharing)
• Strong experience with Kafka (producers/consumers, schema registry, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt
• A solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data lifecycle management

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipe
• Knowledge of Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, or Confluent Platform
• Exposure to observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
• Background in DevOps or SRE practices applied to data systems
