Job description

OneSparQ is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer for an engineering and consulting firm located in Cleveland, OH.

Required Skills

4+ years of experience with specific geotechnical investigations, analysis, calculations, designs etc. to execute initiatives

Bachelors Degree within a relevant discipline (Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Civil, etc)

Valid Driver licenses

Additional Skills: (not required)

Master Degree within Engineering

Familiarity with GA/Southeast topography, soil and geotechnical environment

Experience within facilities/enclosures materials testing, environmental or other relevant engineering disciplines

Professional Engineering/EIT License

Responsibilities

Follow and promote safety standards on all projects soil and ground-related (testing, analysis, and recommendations)

Ensure quality work across projects and deliverables

Manage and complete projects from start to finish

Help define project scope and prepare cost estimates and documents

Analyze data and perform basic engineering calculations

Coordinate field work, site investigations, and lab testing

Help plan project schedules and track progress

Work closely with senior engineers for guidance and review

Assist with design recommendations and project reports

May help supervise field staff and technicians

Communicate with clients and project teams on progress

Work under guidance of a licensed engineer (PE)
