Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Security Specialist, based in Front Royal, VA, with some flexibility for remote work. The Security Specialist will be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security measures, including cybersecurity, physical security, and network protection. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing and enhancing security protocols, monitoring security systems, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to address security requirements will also be a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cybersecurity and Network Security practices
• Experience with Physical Security and Information Security measures
• Strong Communication skills for collaboration and clear reporting
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are an advantage
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks and regulations is a plus
