Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Lead Senior RF Electrical Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in the design and optimization of cutting-edge RF systems for radar and communication applications. We are looking for an individual with robust systems engineering experience to manage and enhance system performance by deriving comprehensive RF system budgets and evaluating critical performance parameters including phase noise, CPCR (Clutter Power to Carrier Ratio), CA (Coherent Ambiguity), among others. Your expertise will ensure our systems not only meet but exceed mission requirements.
As a part of our team, you will leverage your deep knowledge in antenna systems, element/mutual coupling, and free-space radiation performance. You will be expected to troubleshoot, evaluate, and optimize existing antenna designs swiftly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboratively derive and document RF system requirements alongside multiple technical disciplines.
- Innovate and develop RF subsystem and system architectures to enhance functionality.
- Simulate, model, design, select, and characterize various components.
- Design and implement RF circuit cards and subsystems for applications in radar and other sensor systems.
- Engage in cross-functional technical design reviews to ensure project alignment.
- Support and participate in integration and testing activities in various project phases.
- Contribute to project planning and execution while overseeing critical tasks.
- Mentor junior staff, supporting their growth and development in the field.
Compensation Range: $115,700 - $150,500

Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in RF system design.
- Proven ability to derive and validate comprehensive system-level RF budgets.
- Proficiency in software simulation platforms like Ansys HFSS, Genesys, CST, MATLAB, or Python.
- Interest and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Antennas and Phased Arrays.
- Receivers.
- Exciters.
- Simulation.
- Anechoic Chamber Measurements.
- Schematic Capture.
- Strong capability with RF measurement equipment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex concepts and actively engage with stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and retain a security clearance.
Citizenship Requirements
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and is subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
