Reliability best practices

Failure physics, mechanical/electrical engineering, materials science

Accelerated testing, scientific basis for test design

Reliability test plans, FMEA, reliability block modeling Experience with:

E-beam (electron beam) technology (strong preference)

Reliability tools such as ReliaSoft, or equivalent; not required but beneficial. Soft Skills & Behavior Strong communication skills.

Comfortable influencing others without direct authority.

Ability to drive design teams toward reliability improvements.

Ability to present to executives (with support as needed).

Outgoing, collaborative, strong teamwork mindset.

Group motto: "Reliability is a team endeavor. Education & Experience Formal reliability degree not required.

Strong preference for engineering degrees (electrical, mechanical, physics).

Minimum 5 Years Practical Experience Preferred.

Experience more important than advanced degrees (though many on the team have PhDs). Experience with:

E-beam tools

ReliaSoft (Weibull, BlockSim)

Other reliability modeling applications Understanding of applied failure physics and manufacturing reliability. Interview Process

Step 1: Initial Zoom Screening Step 2: Candidate Presentation Candidate presents past work to: Reliability team Supported design team (e.g., E-beam group) Group evaluates technical skill, communication, and project experience. Step 3: On-site Interviews Halfday to fullday format: Morning: presentation + Q&A (1 1.5 hours)

Lunch with team

Afternoon: multiple 30minute stakeholder interviews Industry Background- Candidates from other industries (aerospace, automotive, etc.) acceptable.

Preference for those with E-beam/semiconductor capital equipment experience.
