Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retail Sales Manager located in Laurel, MD. The Retail Sales Manager will oversee daily sales operations, lead a team of sales associates, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, driving sales growth, maintaining high-quality showroom standards, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• Proven Retail Sales and Sales experience, with a background in achieving sales targets

Minimum 2 years of flooring sales experience (retail showroom or in-home sales)

Strong knowledge of flooring products (LVP, hardwood, laminate, carpet)

Experience measuring jobs and preparing estimates

Ability to close sales and build customer relationships

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with clients and team members effectively
• Demonstrated ability to enhance the Customer Experience through personalized service and attention to detail
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team to deliver results
• Familiarity with the flooring or home improvement industry is a plus
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
