Systems Engineer (Python / Kubernetes)

We’re looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial Trading Engineer to join our Strategy Development team. This position sits at the intersection of technology, data, and market strategy — the core of our trading operation. You’ll take ownership of the systems that power our trading strategies, design automations that improve speed and efficiency, and ensure our trading runs seamlessly under pressure.

This role is ideal for someone with an SRE or operations engineering background who wants to work closer to the markets - where milliseconds matter, and innovation drives results.

What You’ll Do

• Be on the front line of trading: Monitor system health and performance in real time, respond to incidents, and maintain system stability and speed during trading hours.
• Engineer solutions: Build tools and automation that remove manual processes, improve reliability, and create room for innovation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with traders, quants, and developers to deliver high-impact enhancements to the trading stack.
• Drive continuous improvement: Challenge assumptions, propose creative fixes, and raise reliability and performance through technical excellence.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in site reliability, systems engineering, or technical operations, ideally in high-performance or real-time environments
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python and Bash required)
• Hands-on experience managing production Linux and Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with Prometheus, SQL/MongoDB, InfluxDB, Kafka, or similar tools
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
