SOFT's client located in Richmond, VA is looking for a IT Project Manager for a long term contract assignment.

Qualifications

Technical Project Manager

•Partner with senior leaders and product owners to understand status, risks, issues, mitigation plans and report out status that gets rolled up.

•Drive delivery forward focusing on teams that need assistance, cross-team dependencies, proactive identification and removal of blockers.

•Partner with architecture/technical team lead to validate product solutions are aligned to standards and architectural guidelines or documents, communicate decisions that are not aligned, and ensure that critical systems and significant changes are reviewed and approved through applicable governance process.

• 5 to 7 years of experience

Skills Needed

•Experienced project manager with ability to follow technical discussions.

•Soft skills to lead and influence large dispersed teams.

•Strong written and oral communications.

•Strong organizational skills with the abilities to organize a large volume of information and follow up on action items.
