Bullis School seeks an energetic and forward-thinking leader with a deep foundation in independent schools to serve as its next Director of Enrollment Management. A member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team, the Director leads the strategic and daily operations of the Admission Office, overseeing recruitment, enrollment, and retention in alignment with the School’s mission and institutional priorities. Reporting to the Head of School, this highly visible role partners closely with senior administrators, faculty, and staff to shape the composition and future of the Bullis community. This is a 12-month administrative position reporting to the Head of School with an anticipated start date of June 1, 2026.
The Director serves as the primary ambassador for Bullis and the face of the Admission Office, cultivating meaningful relationships with prospective families, students, and external partners. The ideal candidate is an engaging and authentic communicator who thrives on building connections and conveying the distinct value of a Bullis education, pairing strategic insight with a personal, relationship-driven approach. With a strong understanding of the independent school landscape, the Director brings both strategic insight and a personal, relationship-driven approach to enrollment, ensuring each interaction reflects the school’s warmth, excellence, and commitment to community.
Bullis seeks a leader who is both data-informed and people-centered - someone who can translate enrollment trends and market insights into a clear strategy while remaining deeply attuned to the experiences of students and families. The strongest candidates will bring a balance of institutional knowledge and fresh perspective; familiarity with Bullis or similar independent schools is highly valued, though innovative, nontraditional candidates are encouraged to apply.
Working at Bullis means being a part of a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development. We offer competitive salaries and generous benefits that make it an ideal place to build a thriving career.
