Job title: Electrical Designer (MEP – Commercial Projects)

Location: Wilmington, DE (On-site)

Job Type: Fulltime

In this role, you will take ownership of designing electrical systems for building environments—ranging from power distribution to advanced lighting and control systems. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, code-compliant designs that bring real-world projects to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems for commercial buildings
  • Develop detailed drawings and layouts using AutoCAD or Revit
  • Apply NEC standards and ensure compliance across all designs
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality, efficient design solutions

Key Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience in electrical design within MEP or building services
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience with power distribution and commercial lighting design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Preferred experience includes working on commercial, healthcare, or similar building projects.
