Entry Level Designer

About the Role: Our client is looking for an entry level Engineering Designer to join the team. This is an onsite role that works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 7:30-4pm with a 30-minute lunch break. There is full training provided on processes and the software utilized. This is an entry level role with room to grow within the company!

Responsibilities

• Designing work orders for power distribution projects, working in a corporate office environment
• Designing construction prints utilizing client specific CAD/GIS based programs
• Supporting large and small energy companies and clients.

Qualifications

• Completed AS or BS degree in Engineering, Technology, Construction, etc OR 1+ years of design experience with CAD related software or GIS

Required Skills

• Ability to work onsite.
• Has reliable transportation.
• Ability to learn new software.

Preferred Skills

• Proven experience with CAD/GIS/design.
• Interest or background in utilities, telecom, commercial wiring or power space.
