Construction Services Assistant Project Manager

As a Construction Services Assistant Project Manager, you will provide quality assurance and quality control expertise in the oversight of projects in Norther Virginia and DC metro area. You will review project owner’s quality management plans and supporting documentation to ensure that projects are being built safely, on budget, on schedule, within scope, and in conformance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

· Planning, scheduling and coordinating project activities from initial request phase through to project closeout

· Supervising and mentoring the field staff

• Reading plans, drawing, and specifications
• Reviewing the field reports, tracking of work, notifying Senior staff and Client of problem areas
• Tracking project progress and assist with budget monitoring and reporting
• Preparing and submitting project invoices
• Maintaining appropriate documentation/deliverables
• Assist Project Manager/Engineers with large or small projects
• Communicating with project teams, Clients, Project Manager, and field staff
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or related area of specialty preferred. PE will be preferred.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the construction field especially in transportation projects in similar capacity

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
