  • Contract Analyst (Procurement / Construction Projects
  • Location: Hybrid / Remote (Hicksville, NY – Long Island)
  • Must be local to Long Island and open to occasional onsite visits

Role Overview

  • Looking for a Contract Analyst to support procurement and contract management for construction and capital projects. This role involves working with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance (including FEMA-funded projects).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts, purchase orders, and procurement activities
  • Create and manage RFPs, bids, contracts, amendments, and change orders
  • Support construction / capital project contracts
  • Work with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Pre-qualify vendors and manage supplier relationships
  • Conduct bid evaluations and recommend awards
  • Negotiate contract terms and amendments
  • Track and expedite contract deliverables
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance
  • Support cost savings and process improvements
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in contract management / procurement
  • Strong experience with construction or capital projects
  • Experience with RFPs, bid analysis, and contract negotiation
  • Familiar with supplier/vendor management
  • Strong Excel skills (may be tested)
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with FEMA compliance (training available if not)
  • Experience with government contracts
  • Tools: SAP, Ariba, or Power Advocate

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business or related field)

Work Setup

  • Mostly remote, but must travel to project sites as neededCould be once a week or occasional visits
