Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Structures and Systems Design Engineer based in Seattle, WA. The role involves developing, analyzing, and optimizing aerospace systems and structures. Daily responsibilities include systems design and engineering, performing structural and mechanical analyses, and developing system architecture. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry and safety standards will be required, as well as staying updated on innovative aerospace technologies and methods.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Systems Design, Systems Engineering, and System Architecture
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering principles and practices
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles with a focus on structural analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and stakeholder interaction
  • Experience with certification processes and standards (FAA, EASA, etc.) is a plus
  • Proficiency in using CATIA V5 or similar design software is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
