Job Title: HVAC Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Engineer to lead and execute HVAC modernization projects. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects from engineering through execution, supporting energy-reduction initiatives, and ensuring the successful completion of HVAC projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead Project Engineer on one active HVAC modernization project, taking it from engineering through execution.
- Support energy-reduction initiatives by upgrading and modernizing HVAC and HVAC control systems.
- Perform detailed engineering, design, and scoping for three additional future HVAC projects.
- Develop project scopes, gather vendor and contractor quotes, and support cost estimates.
- Submit and manage Capital Expense Requests (CERs).
- Coordinate, manage, and oversee contractors and approved vendors.
- Act as the day-to-day technical owner for HVAC projects, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and within scope.
- Interface with internal stakeholders to support project planning and execution.
Essential Skills
- Experience running HVAC projects with at least $1M CapEx.
- Understanding of recent and modern HVAC Control Systems.
- Experience with project scoping for HVAC in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Manufacturing background/experience.
- Experience working for an MEP firm.
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site role with a work schedule from Monday to Friday. Employees can start work as early as 7 AM or as late as 8:30 AM. If starting at 7 AM, the day concludes at 4 PM, and if starting at 8:30 AM, the day concludes at 5:30 PM. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $72.12 - $96.15/hr.
