Vice President of Engineering

We’re supporting a high-growth well-funded VC-backed industrial technology company building a full-stack IoT platform combining connected hardware, edge AI, and software intelligence.

With strong customer traction, and rapid expansion underway, the business is now hiring a Head of Engineering to scale the team and lead the next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on scaling, execution, and delivery.

You Will Have the Opportunity To

• Grow the engineering team from ~20 → 40–50 people
• Lead across hardware, embedded systems, AI/ML, and full-stack software
• Build structure and processes for a scaling organisation
• Deliver a roadmap combining edge AI + industrial hardware + SaaS products

What We’re Looking For

• Experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth environments
• Background in connected hardware / embedded systems
• Exposure to AI/ML systems (ideally edge or applied AI)
• Strong operator—able to bring structure, not just vision

Location

• Remote-first
• New York / Northeast US strongly preferred (but flexible for the right person)

Compensation

• $200K+ base and meaningful equity
• Designed to attract leaders motivated by ownership and long-term upside

Process

• Fast, structured process (~6 weeks)
