Biomedical Engineering Research Scientist/Engineer (predictive analysis)

Position Overview

Intelligent Automation, Inc. (IAI) is currently seeking a Research Scientist/Engineer at all levels (Entry, Mid and Senior) with proven research background in biomedical engineering, data analysis, and familiarity with machine learning. Areas of interest include mobile health systems with application to sleep monitoring, biomechanical modeling and/or computer vision detection of body posture, head, and face detection.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a small team of engineers and scientists developing solutions in health IT and other relevant fields
• Develop state of art algorithms to analyze and model various physiological data (prediction, detection, recognition, and classification)
• Able to learn and evaluate new technologies

Required skills

• Biomedical engineering applications/machine learning/statistical modeling
• Strong C, C++ background
• Scripting with Python and/or Matlab
• Strong research writing skills
• Excellent communication skills

Desired skills

• Experience with the design of user interfaces
• Experience with mobile application development
• Experience with virtual reality

EDUCATION

• Senior level o PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering o Applicants with master’s degree (MS) will be considered for senior level if they possess excellent publication record, industry experience, and hands-on work experience
• Junior level o MS in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
