Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support CNC programming and machining operations within a precision medical or aerospace manufacturing environment. This role focuses on developing efficient manufacturing methods, improving processes, and supporting high‑quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document manufacturing methods, tooling selections, and machining processes.
  • Identify and resolve production issues while driving continuous improvement.
  • Work with supervisors and CNC programmers to optimize setups and reduce cycle times.
  • Evaluate current processes to understand efficiency challenges and non‑conformances.
  • Create operation sheets, drawings, travelers, and provide CAD support for CAM programming.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements using strong GD&T knowledge.
  • Apply process engineering principles such as tolerance stack‑ups, datum controls, and work‑piece control.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering within a precision machining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of metalworking, machining, and plating processes.
  • Proficient in GD&T and mechanical drawing interpretation.
  • Experience collaborating with CNC programmers and machinists.
  • Proficient with CAD tools and familiar with CAM workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
