Lead Project Manager

Position Summary

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of multiple construction task orders under the APG MATOC. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contract documents, drawings, and specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of project execution from planning through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and Government stakeholders.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead project meetings and provide status reports to leadership and Government.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate closely with Quality Control and Safety personnel.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing federal construction projects.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or DoD projects.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Strong leadership and communication skills..

Physical Requirements

• Ability to visit job sites and walk active construction areas.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting USACE or DoD installations.
• PMP Certification
• Experience managing design-build projects.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent task orders.
