About The Role

Calibre Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analyst to support the missions of the National Guard Bureau (NGB) J8. This position requires an individual with deep knowledge of the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS), including experience in reviewing and developing strategic documents, plans, and global force management (GFM) products. The analyst will play a vital role in supporting NGB engagement in strategic planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. This on-site role offers limited telework flexibility and involves working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to provide critical insights and recommendations. Responsibilities include assessing implications for National Guard forces, assisting in staffing actions, developing senior leader correspondence, and supporting strategic initiatives through analysis, briefings, and reports. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, organizational prowess, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with current Top Secret clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
• Proven analytical skills with a strong organizational aptitude
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in groupware applications such as SharePoint and MS Teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness and ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Support NGB J8 in the review and development of strategic documents, plans, concepts, and force management products
• Participate in analysis and formulation of advice for senior leaders, including preparing reports, briefings, and project deliverables
• Assess equities and implications for National Guard forces, capabilities, and resources in strategic planning efforts
• Assist in evaluating issues, providing timely information, and developing actionable recommendations for senior leadership forums
• Support the development, review, and finalization of formal staffing actions via ETMS2 and other tasking systems
• Contribute to drafting, staffing, and finalizing senior leader correspondence and military advice
• Collaborate across NGB JS and DoD staff to maintain situational awareness, strengthen relationships, and anticipate requirements to support NGB missions
