Film Students!! - Videographer/Editor/Performance Metrics

I am seeking a talented Videographer/Editor (with a focus on Performance Metrics and Engagement) to capture and deliver my content.

In March of 2024, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and March 10th of 2026 I had brain surgery that has given me renewed perspective on life and kicked me in the ass to start making things happen. This surgery saved my life and I am truly blessed to have a miraculous recovery. I will turn 54 in May and feel like my life is just starting. I now feel it is part of my life’s purpose to share my appreciation and inspire others…and also to offset some of the bullshit going on in the world.

I am a school teacher and I am out of work until mid April. I want to start a creative video series to share my interests and skills (starting with a show and tell of a custom home renovation I recently finished - it’s Awesome!)

The idea is to document cool things that I have been putting off and also to provide inspiration for those who are struggling - and how a positive attitude can directly influence outcomes and helps us persevere.

I am starting the pay low in hopes of finding someone that wants to be a part of something special but I will increase the pay as milestones are hit. This could be a great opportunity for a film student in Boston. I have one person on board, looking to add another. And I already have a great audience waiting in the wings (incredible, crazy 7th graders that will share videos with other grades and schools - this would compound viewership significantly).

The right person should know the ins and outs of making social media videos from recording to editing to uploading, and how to generate clicks and traffic.
