Staff Geologist or Engineer

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company is hiring an Assistant Project Manager – Construction Services (Testing/Inspection) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Official title will be Staff Geologist or Engineer if the candidate has a degree, or Intern if the degree is still in progress. The successful candidate will support Construction Services Project Managers with construction materials testing projects, including assisting with proposal preparation, project coordination, and communication with clients and design professionals.

The Assistant Project Manager will help coordinate and monitor field activities, including supporting field technicians and inspectors. Responsibilities include assisting with project documentation, compiling data, preparing reports, tracking project progress, and helping maintain schedules and budgets. The role may also include visiting project sites to observe work being performed and supporting troubleshooting efforts under the guidance of senior staff.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Geology, or a related field. Recent graduates looking to work in the construction or civil engineering industry are encouraged to apply. Relevant internship or coursework in construction materials testing or inspection is a plus.
