Sales Territory Manager – Electrical Motors (Northeast USA)

Location: Remote (Must be based in PA, NJ, OH, or MI)

Salary: $95,000 + 15% Sales Bonus + 5% Regional Bonus

Overview

Kelly Services is seeking a driven and technically inclined Sales Territory Manager to oversee and grow a multi-state Northeast territory. This role is responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business, and delivering technical solutions to customers within the electrical motors and industrial space.

This is a remote, field-based role requiring frequent travel across a 15-state region.

Territory Coverage

MI, OH, WV, MD, DC, DE, CT, RI, VT, ME, NY, NJ, PA, NH

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue and market share within the assigned territory
  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities
  • Achieve revenue targets, sales quotas, and margin goals
  • Conduct technical evaluations, collect customer data, and support solution development
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to support customer needs
  • Respond to RFQs, pricing requests, and customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Track and manage sales pipeline, leads, and opportunities
  • Travel extensively within the territory for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including customer service, engineering, and operations
  • Support and coordinate activities with independent sales representatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical outside sales experience (electrical, motors, or industrial products preferred)
  • Experience working with OEMs is a plus
  • Strong understanding of technical products and ability to support customer solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Customer-focused with a sense of urgency and problem-solving mindset
