2D Game Board Designer — 18-Hole Mini Golf Course Design, Layout + Production Files

I’m looking for a game artist + designer that can help design my product. I have an existing board design (provided as PDF) that needs to be refined and perfected, plus a completely new Back 9 layout designed from scratch to create a full 18-hole double-sided board experience.

What I Need

Refine and clean up the existing Front 9 design — smooth hole shapes, consistent zone sizing across all 9 holes, ensure the layout fills the 17.75” circle properly with appropriate spacing between holes.

Design a completely new Back 9 layout — 9 unique organic hole shapes, different from the Front 9. Must feel cohesive with the Front 9 as part of the same brand identity.

Production-ready Adobe Illustrator (.AI) files for both sides — exact 17.75” diameter, all colors in Pantone (PMS) codes based on provided hex values, 300 DPI minimum, print-ready.

DXF wire path files for both sides — tracing the border outline of every hole shape on both the Front 9 and Back 9. These files go directly to our manufacturer in China for CNC brass wire bending.

Board Specifications

∙ Diameter: 17.75 inches

∙ Shape of holes: Organic, amoeba-style — no perfect circles or rectangles

∙ Zones per hole (outside in): Rough → Fairway → Green → Cup Ring

∙ Cup Ring: Small gold circle at center of each hole — this is the bullseye/hole-in-one target

∙ Background: Dark forest green

∙ Wire framing: Brass wire borders each hole — DXF path required for each

Ideal Candidate

Experience designing physical game boards, sporting goods, or manufactured consumer products. Strong Adobe Illustrator skills with ability to output DXF files. Understanding of print production for physical goods. Bonus if you have experience with board game design or sports equipment. Please include relevant portfolio samples — specifically any work involving organic shapes, game layouts, or technical production files.
