Mid-Level AI/ML Engineer

The Opportunity

Join our team as a Mid-Level AI/ML Engineer, where you will have the chance to design and implement innovative AI solutions tailored to the operational needs of the Marine Corps. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support other team members while guiding critical solutions by applying the most effective ML algorithms and technologies. Help your clients navigate the diverse landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.

You Have

• Experience in AI, data science, ML engineering, software engineering, data research, or data analytics.
• Proven experience in software development or engineering, gained in an academic or professional setting.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
• Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, C#, or Java.
• Strong ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience in developing scripts and programs for data transformations to make data usable, while supporting the project team in scaling and monitoring data platforms.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice If You Have

• Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph.
• Skills in embedded systems programming using languages like C, C++, or Rust.
• Experience in developing and maintaining scalable data stores for big data required for business analysis.
• Competence in creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing both structured and unstructured data.
• Master's degree.

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours weekly are eligible for Booz Allen's benefit programs. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 annually, based on various factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, and experience.
