Akkodis is seeking an AI Software Developer for a Contract with a client in Hamilton, NJ. You will develop data pipelines, validate AI-generated queries, and structure datasets so AI tools can operate accurately across platforms like Fabric, Databricks, and SQL Server .
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AI Software Developer job responsibilities include: Develop and maintain .NET/C# backend services and APIs deployed on Microsoft Azure to support AI-driven applications. Build AI integrations-including prompt engineering, RAG, and function-calling-to enable features like text-to-SQL querying. Validate and optimize AI-generated SQL queries while working across SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks. Design, structure, and expose complex datasets so they can be effectively consumed by LLM-based systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to deliver AI-powered features from concept to production. Ensure secure coding practices and implement guardrails that support safe, compliant AI use in a regulated financial environment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 8-10 years of professional software development experience. Strong backend development skills with .NET / C# and experience building APIs on Microsoft Azure. Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
