Role Overview

As a Next.js Developer Intern, you will play a crucial role in both developing new features and optimizing the core performance of our e-commerce platform. You will collaborate closely with our experienced developers and designers to create seamless, high-performance web applications that directly enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain key features and components for our web applications using Next.js and React.

Build reusable components and front-end libraries, contributing to our future design system efficiency.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Implement responsive designs flawlessly and ensure broad cross-browser compatibility.

Collaborate with back-end developers to efficiently integrate APIs and other server-side functionalities.

Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve code quality across the team.

Stay updated with the latest trends, frameworks, and best practices in modern web development.

Requirements

Have strong experience integrating APIs into web applications.

Demonstrate solid knowledge of state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Query, Context API, etc.).

Possess 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Next.js and modern React ecosystems.

Qualifications

Proficiency in JavaScript, specifically within the Next.js and React frameworks.

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development standards.

Familiarity with consuming APIs, including knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Prior experience with Next.js development projects is is a plus but not required.
