Job description

Step into a truly global role where you will drive fire safety, loss prevention and operational risk reduction across international operations. As Global LPS Audit Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening technical loss prevention systems, minimising risks, and ensuring high safety standards across VELUX facilities worldwide.

This role is primarily focused on manufacturing environments, where the highest loss prevention risks are present. Over time, the scope will also expand to office and administrative locations, ensuring a consistent and risk‑based Loss Prevention approach across all facility types.

Meet your future team

You will join a global network of safety, compliance, and operational excellence professionals across VELUX. The team collaborates closely with regional and local site leaders, insurance partners, and internal functions to ensure consistent and high‑quality LPS (Loss Prevention System) standards.

The environment is highly collaborative and international, with strong knowledge‑sharing across functions and geographies. In this role, you will act as a key connector between global strategy and local execution, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement across all facilities.

The role:

In this role, you will take ownership of the global Loss Prevention Systems (LPS) audit programme, with a strong focus on fire prevention, physical risk management and safety systems across international operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the end‑to‑end Loss Prevention Systems (LPS) audit process – from planning and on‑site execution to reporting and follow‑up
  • Conduct technical LPS audits across global facilities
  • Assess fire safety, loss prevention and physical risk measures against internal standards, insurance requirements and relevant regulations
  • Analyse audit findings and risks, and define corrective and preventive actions
  • Coordinate and negotiate risk mitigation measures with site management, local and regional stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with insurance partners and external risk engineers, including insurance‑related site visits
  • Track implementation of agreed actions and report progress to management
  • Contribute to the continuous development of global LPS standards and best practices

What you will bring

You are a structured and technically oriented professional with a strong passion for fire safety, BOZP / HSE or Loss Prevention.

You bring:

  • Proven experience in Loss Prevention and audit management, ideally in a multinational manufacturing environment
  • Experience or background in fire safety, fire prevention or risk engineering
  • Good understanding of insurance‑driven Loss Prevention requirements and physical risk frameworks
  • Experience or confidence in working with insurance companies and external risk engineers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly present risks and negotiate solutions
  • Fluency in English and Czech, enabling effective communication with both global and local stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across cultures and functions
  • Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role
