Job Description:

The Engineering Business Lead is responsible for auditing and tracking all System Engineering expenses and construction projects. Responsible for reporting on start-ups and completions of construction projects. Other duties include but are not limited to issuing the Purchase Orders for engineering services and construction contracts include fixed asset coding according to accepted accounting life cycles, tracking all related billing, and grouping per project for Construction Budget Reporting. Also responsible for all Engineering Expense Budget Reporting each month and for year-end. Also responsible for leading office staff, assigning tasks and coordinating processes for reporting work and budget progress.

Education:

  • Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field

Experience:

  • Required: 3 years of accounting or related experience
    Preferred: Previous experience in Fixed Asset and/or Construction Accounting

Skills:

  • Advanced Knowledge in Microsoft Office and other software operating systems
  •  Proficient in Budgeting and other Accounting applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize daily task in a fast paced work environment
  •  Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively

Licensure/Certification:

  • Preferred: CPA, CMA or related certification
