About Us
We re building an AI-first product to revolutionize the $100B+ U.S. moving industry of over 35 million Americans relocating each year. Movers face challenges in pricing, quoting, and inventory collection. Our product is a Virtual Survey platform that uses AI and computer vision to automate and streamline the pre-move survey replacing manual, error-prone video calls or home visits with smart, scalable digital workflows.
We have deep domain insight, early customer validation, and are moving toward MVP + early pilot.

What You ll Build
You ll lead the design and development of our core product: an intelligent survey platform where customers can record or upload videos/photos of their home and have the system automatically detect furniture, boxes, and other moveable items using object detection and CV pipelines.
Your Responsibilities
- Architect and build the core AI Virtual Survey application (web/mobile)
- Design a robust pipeline to ingest, process, and analyze user-submitted photos/videos
- Build or integrate object detection models (YOLO, Detectron2, custom ML models)
- Work closely with the product team to create intuitive, user-friendly UX for surveys
- Integrate APIs for storage, video processing, and downstream quoting tools
- Establish engineering best practices, version control, and deployment pipelines
- Own product performance and reliability as we scale
- Play a key role in hiring and shaping the early tech cultureIdeal Background
- 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience, preferably in startup or 0 1 settings
- Strong experience building and deploying full-stack web or mobile apps (React Native, Flutter, or native iOS/Android a plus)
- Deep experience with computer vision / object detection in real-world image/video pipelines
- Proficiency in ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, RF-DETR, Yolo etc.
- Experience with video processing at scale (e.g., FFmpeg, AWS Rekognition, etc.)
- Strong backend/API experience with Python, Node.js, or Go
- Comfortable deploying on AWS/Google Cloud Platform, setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Strong product sense and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to Haves
- Previous experience with logistics, home services, or real estate tech
- Experience building visual annotation tools or using Label Studio, Roboflow, etc.
- Worked with on-device AI or lightweight inference models
- Familiarity with AI assistants or task-oriented bots in operational workflows
- Experience with edge cases like poor lighting, occlusion, or messy real-world data
