Job description
Title: .Net Developer/Programmer - Expert
Durations: 24 Months
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM including ½ hour unpaid lunch
Location: Menands, NY, 12204
Working hours: 37.5 hrs/week
Description: OMIG’s current systems were designed in a fee-for-service environment and are not currently equipped to fully support Managed Care data and business processes. This project is to address comprehensive enhancements to OMIG's systems to support overall program integrity with a focus on Managed Care activities. These enhancements will improve reporting capabilities, expand data available to drive additional recoveries, and improve efficacy.
Responsibilities
- Attend meetings with program area responsible for applications impacted by Managed Care.
- Designing and programming the enhancements for the impacted applications, using both web forms and- MVC (Model View Controller) architectural patterns.
- Designing and programming a user-friendly interface using complex data structures and complex form layouts.
- Designing and programming in .Net environment using Team Foundation Server.
Skills
· Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field, from an accredited institution.
· 60 months of experience designing systems using Oracle or SQL Server Databases, ER Diagrams, Stored Procedures, Indexes, Triggers, Cursors and User Defined Functions.
· 60 months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 and 2022 utilizing the .NET Framework versions (4.0 to 9 and .Net Core) with experience using Team Foundation Server and Git.
· 84 months of experience developing and maintaining FACTS web/console-based C# applications and Web Services using MVC, WCF, Web forms, Web API, implementing cryptography frameworks, and implementing application security mechanism.
· 84 months of experience working within an Application Development organization implementing Medicaid financial and audit tracking application solutions.
· 84 months of experience in analysis and design including ERDs, DFDs, Transitions diagrams, etc., encompassing both high and low-level design.
· 84 months of experience developing and maintaining Component One utilities, Api’s and programming tools.
· 84 months of experience programming in C#.net.
· 84 months of experience with object-oriented analysis, design, and programming (OOA, OOD, OOP) as well as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), N-tier architecture using MVC patterns.
