Overview
This is an opportunity to join a high-impact, growth-driven environment at a pivotal time. As a Cardiopulmonary Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding awareness and access to advanced therapies, supporting healthcare professionals, and ultimately improving patient outcomes in rare and complex disease areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance across a defined territory by executing strategic sales and marketing plans
- Promote assigned therapies to healthcare professionals in line with regulatory and compliance standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pulmonologists, cardiologists, and other key stakeholders (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and specialty pharmacy partners)
- Serve as a trusted clinical and product expert, delivering high-quality education on disease state, treatment options, and product data
- Analyse territory and sales data to identify opportunities and develop targeted business plans to exceed sales objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional and field-based teams to optimise customer engagement and outcomes
- Maintain accurate records using CRM/sales force automation systems
- Ensure timely completion of all administrative responsibilities, including reporting and expense management
- Attend and support local, regional, and national conferences, symposia, and patient engagement initiatives
- Stay up to date with clinical developments, treatment guidelines, and competitive landscape
Requirements
Cardiopulmonary Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences or Nursing preferred), or equivalent experience
- 6+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, or clinical experience in advanced lung disease
- 2+ years’ experience in cardiovascular and/or pulmonary therapeutic areas
- Strong clinical acumen with the ability to communicate complex scientific data
- Proven track record of sales success and relationship building in specialty markets
- Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills
- Valid driver’s licence
