As part of the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG), you will
- Learns and actively participates in the company's safety and quality plans, promoting an injury-free environment.
- Complete mechanical and electrical construction activities.
- Develop budgetary M/E estimates based on design information.
- Assist in reviewing mechanical and electrical options for preconstruction processes.
- Participate in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical scopes of work during the bid process.
- Perform job inspections to guarantee specifications and quality standards are met.
- Assist in commissioning processes, including functional testing.
- Mentor less experienced co-workers and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction management techniques.
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field (required).
- 5+ years of relevant construction and/or engineering experience (preferred).
