Fraud Analyst

As a Fraud Investigation Specialist at OCBC, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers and the bank from financial crimes. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to preventing and detecting fraudulent activities, and you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the bank's risk management efforts.

How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to be meticulous and thorough in your investigations, with a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset. You will need to work closely with various stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, to gather evidence and build cases against perpetrators. Your ability to think critically and outside the box will be essential in identifying and mitigating potential risks.

What you do
- Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
- Analyze data and financial records to identify patterns and anomalies
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to build cases against perpetrators
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and detect fraudulent activities
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on fraud prevention and detection

Who you are
- A degree in a relevant field, such as law, accounting, or criminology
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field, such as law enforcement, auditing, or risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a keen eye for patterns and anomalies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
- A strong understanding of financial crimes and risk management principles
